Bill Goldman, MD ’75, BA ’72, associate clinical professor of pediatrics, at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and his wife Jenny recently joined a team of volunteers on a medical mission Tanzania to help local mothers in a tiny agricultural community.
Joseph René Smith, MD ’80, BS ’74, recently returned from a volunteer mission to Vietnam. Smith was one of two designated medical directors for the Vietnam Health Clinic (VHC), a student-run volunteer organization with the University of Washington.
Joshua D’Angelo, DPT ’13, was among this year’s nine George Washington University alumni honored with a 2018 Alumni Achievement Award for their significant career accomplishments and service to the university.

Dennis Dimitri, MD ’79, vice chair of the Department of Family Medicine Clinical Services at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, was recently promoted in his clinical role to professor of family medicine.
